Bilt Hamber Dynax S-50 is a high performance anti corrosion wax designed to provide long lasting protection to steel surfaces, particularly in enclosed cavities where moisture and contaminants can lead to rapid corrosion. It is widely used for protecting vehicle bodywork, structural components and machinery exposed to harsh environments.
Forming a soft, brown wax like film, Dynax S-50 actively creeps into seams, joints and hard to reach areas, sealing out moisture and protecting against corrosion. Its advanced formulation not only prevents rust from forming but can also arrest existing corrosion, making it suitable for both new and previously affected surfaces.
Key Features
Dynax S-50 contains advanced metal seeking molecules that displace moisture and bond directly to the surface, allowing it to be applied even to damp areas. Once applied, it forms a flexible, self healing film that can recover if disturbed, maintaining continuous protection.
It has been proven to outperform many competing products in salt spray testing under ASTM B117 conditions, while also maintaining performance in changing environments without swelling or detaching.
The high solids content, over 50 percent, ensures a durable protective layer while still allowing excellent penetration. It creeps deep into seams and flanges by capillary action, reaching areas where corrosion often begins.
Typical Uses
Ideal for use in vehicle cavities, chassis sections, seams and enclosed panels. Suitable for protecting cars, vans, classic vehicles, machinery, tools, moulds and marine or offshore structures exposed to corrosive conditions.
Also effective for protecting components during storage or transit.
Important Information
Dynax S-50 is designed primarily for enclosed or protected areas and is not intended for prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. It can be removed if required using a suitable solvent.
Supplied With
Each 750ml aerosol is supplied with a 600mm injection lance for accessing cavities and enclosed areas. When purchasing multiple aerosols, one lance is supplied for every two cans. The lance is reusable.
